Setting Up Call Cancellation in HubSpot Workflow

Updated this week

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • Integrated HubSpot with Brightcall.ai using our integration guide

  • Verified your HubSpot subscription includes Workflow functionality

  • Confirmed you have the necessary permissions to create and edit workflows

Once you've installed Brightcall from the HubSpot Marketplace, you can use it as an action in your contact-based or deal-based workflows.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a new workflow or select an existing one from your workflow list.

  2. Configure your workflow trigger based on your requirements.

  3. Click the '+' button to add a new action.

  4. In the actions menu, select Brightcall Speed to Lead and choose Cancel Brightcall Call.

  5. Select the specific widget where you want to cancel calls. (Note: This will limit call cancellations to the selected widget only)

  6. Click Save to confirm your action settings.

  7. Activate your workflow by turning it on in HubSpot.

Your workflow is now configured to automatically cancel future calls based on your specified triggers.

How it works

  • For contacts enrolled in a workflow, the integration searches for future calls that either have a HubSpot contact link or contain one of the contact's phone numbers as a lead phone.

  • For deals enrolled in a workflow, it also searches for calls with a HubSpot deal link and performs the same search for all contacts related to the deal.
