📲User Guide for Using the Brightcall Dialer Mobile App

This article explains how to install, set up, and use the Brightcall Dialer Mobile App on both iOS and Android devices.

Installing & Configuring Dialer App on iOS

  1. Download Brightcall.ai application from the App Store.

  2. Open the app and make sure to allow the required permissions. You will be prompted to allow:

  • Microphone

  • Notifications

To recheck if the notifications are enabled do the following:

  • Go to Settings > Notifications.

  • Select the Brightcall.ai app and enable Allow Notifications.

Warning about Focus Mode! To ensure that push notifications (calls) from Brightcall.ai are delivered successfully, please consider your iOS Focus modes. Make sure to add the Brightcall.ai app to the "Allowed Apps" list in Do Not Disturb and other Focus modes you may have enabled. This will ensure that important calls are not missed, even when these modes are active.

Installing & Configuring Dialer App on Android

  1. Download Brightcall.ai application from the Google Play

  2. Open the app and make sure to allow the required permissions. You will be prompted to allow:

  4. Contacts

    To recheck if the notifications are enabled do the following:

    • Open your device's Settings app

    • Tap Notifications > App settings

    • Find & Tap on Brightcall.ai App

    • Turn the app's notifications on

Warning about Sleeping apps! To ensure that push notifications (calls) from Brightcall.ai are delivered successfully, please consider Background usage limits setting. Make sure to add the Brightcall.ai app to the Never auto sleeping apps or completely disable Put unused apps to sleep.

Short instruction:
- Navigate to and open Settings > Tap Battery and device care.
- Tap Battery, and then tap Background usage limits.
- Tap on Never auto sleeping apps
- Add Brightcall.ai

3. Login

  • Open the app

  • Enter your credentials (use your email address and Dialer Key as the password to log in).

4. Making Calls

  1. Open the Keypad tab

  2. Enter or paste the phone number

  3. Tap the Call button to start the call


5. Call History

  • Go to the History tab

  • View your calls

  • Tap the Call button to call back

6. Troubleshooting

  • No sound → check microphone permission

  • No incoming calls → check notifications + background permissions

  • App not working → restart or reinstall

  • Poor call quality → check internet connection
