How to Add Custom Voices from ElevenLabs to Your AI Agent in Brightcall

This article explains how to add custom voices from ElevenLabs and use them with your AI Agent in Brightcall. This allows you to personalize the voice of your agent to better match your brand or user experience.

1. Log in to Your ElevenLabs Account.

Go to https://www.elevenlabs.io/ and log into your account.
2. Go to the “Voice Library”

Once logged in, click on “Voices” from the left-side menu to view your available voices.


3. Choose a Voice and Copy the Voice ID
From the Voice Library, browse the available voices and choose the one you want to use.Click on the three dots (···) next to the voice, then select “Copy Voice ID”.



4. Open Your Brightcall Dashboard
Go to your Brightcall account and navigate to the Dialer & AI Agent section, then click on Projects.From there, select the project where you want to add the voice.



5. Add custom voice in the Project Settings – Behavior Tab
Within the selected project, go to the Project Settings and open the Behavior tab.Then click on “Add Custom Voice.”


6. Enter the Voice Code
In the popup window, you’ll be asked to enter the Voice Name and Voice String.

In the Voice String field, paste the following format:

t25/{{your_code_here}}?optimize_streaming_latency=3

Replace {{your_code_here}} with the Voice ID you copied from ElevenLabs (without curved brackets).
Then click on “Save”.





Example:If your Voice ID is 19STyYD15bswVz51nqLf, the final value should look like:

t25/19STyYD15bswVz51nqLf?optimize_streaming_latency=3

7. Verify the Voice is Added

After saving, go back to the Project Settings – Behavior Tab, and open the dropdown menu for voices.You should now see the voice you just added listed there.
