Connect Brightcall.ai and WhatsApp Notifications

The Brightcall.ai app for Zapier lets you automatically send WhatsApp notifications when specific events happen in Brightcall — such as a missed call, new call, lead created, or call completed.

This is perfect if you want to:

  • Notify sales or support teams instantly

  • Send WhatsApp alerts to managers or agents

  • Keep customers informed in real time

What do you need to start using the app:

  • Zapier account

  • Brightcall.ai account

  • WhatsApp Notifications app connected in Zapier

How to set up?

1. Create a Zap

The first step is to create a new Zap in Zapier.


A Zap is a workflow that connects two or more apps together.
In this case, you will connect Brightcall.ai with WhatsApp Notifications.

2. Choose Trigger

After creating a Zap, you need to choose a trigger.
A trigger is an event that starts the workflow.

Search for and select Brightcall.ai as the trigger app.

3. Select a Brightcall Trigger Event

Choose the Brightcall event that should trigger the WhatsApp message, for example:

  • Dialer Call AI Summary

  • Dialer Call Summary

  • New Speed to Lead Call

Then click Continue.

4. Choose a connected Brightcall account

Connect your Brightcall account by clicking "Change" beside the "Account" field and press choose an existing one or you can add a new one by clicking "+ Connect a new account", a new tab will open to authorize your account by adding your account API key ( To retrieve your API key click here ).

5. Set up and test the trigger

Configure the trigger fields if required and test the trigger to make sure Zapier receives data from Brightcall correctly.

6. Add Action: WhatsApp Notifications

After the trigger is set, click Add Action.

Search for and select WhatsApp Notifications as the action app.

7. Choose Action Event

Select the Send WhatsApp Message event, then click Continue.

8. Configure action

Fill in the required fields for the WhatsApp notification:

8.1 Recipient phone number

Enter the WhatsApp number that should receive the notification.
Make sure the number is in international format (e.g. +971XXXXXXXXX).

8.2 Message content

Write the WhatsApp message content.
You can dynamically insert Brightcall data such as:

  • Caller phone number

  • Call status

  • Agent name

  • Call time

  • Custom parameters from Brightcall

This allows you to send clear, real-time notifications like:

“Missed call from {{Caller Number}} at {{Call Time}}”

8.3 Optional configuration

Depending on your WhatsApp Notifications setup, you may also configure:

  • Message templates

  • Additional metadata

9. Test action

Click Test Action to send a real WhatsApp message and confirm everything works correctly.

Note: Testing will send an actual WhatsApp message to the selected number.

10. Publish Zap

Once everything looks good, click Publish Zap.

Now you’re all set! 🎉

Your WhatsApp notifications will now be sent automatically whenever the selected Brightcall event occurs.
